Mercato settimanale di Nizza Monferrato
Nizza's traditional weekly open-air market fills the central squares every Friday morning with food, fruit and vegetables, local produce, clothing and household stalls.
Why it's special
Held around Piazza Garibaldi and Piazza XX Settembre, the seasonal produce stalls are a good place to find the local Cardo Gobbo (hunchback cardoon) and other Valle Belbo specialities.
A tip
- Come before noon for the best of the produce; parking is easiest just outside the centre.
- A smaller produce market also runs on Wednesdays.
