Cantine Bosca is a large, long-established Canelli sparkling-wine producer whose main draw is its 'Cattedrali Sotterranee' — kilometres of tufa tunnels beneath the town, part of the UNESCO-listed heritage of Canelli's underground cellars, where Classic Method sparkling wines mature at a naturally constant temperature. The range centres on spumanti: Asti Spumante, traditional-method sparkling wines and Charmat-method bottlings, including a rosé.
The cellars are open only by guided visit, booked in advance, and the roughly hour-long tour leans into a sound-and-light show projected through the caves before a tasting (typically one Classic Method and two Charmat wines). Reactions are mixed: many enjoy the cool, spectacular caves, the family-friendly staging and English-speaking guides, while some find the presentation more show than substance for a very high-volume producer. Tours are available in Italian and English.
