Ivaldi Dario is a four-generation family winery in Nizza Monferrato, farming around twelve hectares split between Nizza and neighbouring Castel Boglione. Now run by Andrea Ivaldi, it is firmly Barbera-focused — Nizza DOCG and Barbera d'Asti at its heart — but rounds out a broad Piedmont range with Moscato d'Asti, Dolcetto, Freisa, Brachetto d'Acqui, Chardonnay, Favorita and an Alta Langa sparkling.
The estate welcomes visitors for guided vineyard and cellar tours that end in a tasting, hosting in Italian, English and French. Visitors praise the warm, personal welcome.
