Giovanna Macario Vini is a family estate defined by three generations of women, from Maria (born 1940) to her daughter Giovanna and now granddaughter Giulia; the operation moved from Castel Boglione to Nizza Monferrato and combines tradition with modern cellar technology. Barbera is the backbone — Barbera d'Asti, Superiore and the Nizza DOCG 'Rabè' — alongside native grapes such as Grignolino, Ruchè and Nebbiolo, fresh whites and rosés, sweet Moscato and Brachetto, and the 'Angel' sparklers.
