Antica Casa Vinicola Scarpa is one of Piedmont's most traditional wine houses, founded in Nizza Monferrato in 1900. It is known for patiently long-aged wines and a historic cellar archive spanning more than 150 years. With vineyards across the Nizza zone, the Langhe and Monferrato, its wines run from the flagship Barbera d'Asti 'La Bogliona', Nizza, Barolo and Barbaresco to indigenous rarities and a small Vermouth di Torino line.
The cellar is open daily by appointment for guided visits and tastings in Italian and English. Visitors highlight the sense of history and the depth of the older vintages poured.
