Somaglia is a small, family-run winery on Strada Cremosina just outside Nizza Monferrato, at the heart of the Nizza and Barbera d'Asti appellations. Run by the Somaglia family, it makes Barbera-based reds in the local tradition on a modest scale.
It is a genuinely informal, personal place: visitors describe a warm welcome from the owners and taste the wines directly with them in the cellar. There is no website; contact is by phone.
